Chris Miller of 3 Roots Capital interviews our own Chris McAdoo, founder and creative director of Best Behavior Creative Club as part of “Rise & Grind”, an original quarterly interview series with entrepreneurs, funders, and leaders about business growth and access to capital. Chris digs super deep into the strategies and values that make Best Behavior tick and how important it is to develop a strong brand (and hopefully, a strong character!) from the beginning stages of a company so that you always have a compass to guide your decision making AND your customers know where you stand.
The Rise & Grind series is hosted by Three Roots Capital, A 501(c)3 and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Three Roots was started in response to the chronic need for more investment capital in central and southern Appalachia and in the broader southeast region of the United States.
The Rise & Grind series is held at the University of Tennessee Research Foundation: “The University of Tennessee Research Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes the commercialization of UT intellectual property, encourages an entrepreneurial culture, contributes to state and regional economic development, and promotes research and education to benefit the people of Tennessee and beyond.”
